Johann Erich Wilms, Germany exceeds 3 %

On 16 December, 2008, Mr Johann Erich Wilms, Germany has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG [German Securities Trading Act] that via shares his voting rights on Leoni AG, Nuremberg, Germany, ISIN: DE0005408884, WKN: 540888, have exceeded the 3% limit of the voting rights on 3 December, 2008 and now amount to 3.03% (this corresponds to 900,300 voting rights).

According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 3.03% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 900,000 voting rights) is to be attributed to Mr Wilms from Hans Wilms Beteiligungs GmbH, Menden, Germany. The voting rights held directly by Mr Johann Erich Wilms amount to 300 shares.
