Nuremberg – The Supervisory Board of Leoni AG has, ahead of schedule, extended the contract of Chief Financial Officer Dieter Bellé for 5 years. The new contract runs until 31 December 2014; the existing agreement would have expired on 30 September 2010.
Bellé (53) was appointed to Leoni AG’s Management Board in October 2000. As CFO he is, along with Controlling and Finance, also in charge of the Tax, Legal, IT, Risk Management and Investor Relations departments. Furthermore, in his role as Labour Director, he is also responsible for personnel matters Group-wide.
During his time at Leoni, the graduate in business administration has sharpened the strategic focus of the Company’s Finance department. Under Bellé, the Group pursues centrally-organised financial management that makes use of a wide range of instruments and is proving itself also during the current economic crisis.
