The takeover of the wiring systems manufacturer Valeo Connective Systems by Leoni as announced in October of this year has now been approved by the European antitrust authority. The European cartel office affirmed the acquisition without any restrictions. Thus the integration of the French automotive supplier can start according to plan on 2 January 2008 (closing).
