LEONI AG of Nuremberg has acquired all the equity in cable specialist Klink + Oechsle, based in the town of Ettlingen in Württemberg, retroactive to 1 August 2004. The company, which was established in 1987, has specialised in developing complete cable systems as well as assembling cables made to customer specifications. With about 110 employees, Klink + Oechsle GmbH generated sales of EUR 19 million in the past financial year. Main customers are well-known companies in the telecommunications and mechanical engineering as well as medical equipment and car manufacturing sectors.
