Nürnberg – Due to the very positive results of the financial year 1999 the LEONI AG Board of Directors will propose to the Supervisory Board a rise of dividend to DM 1.70 per share. In the previous year the dividend was at DM 1.50 per share plus a bonus of DM 0.10.

The Group‘ s turnover increased 24% from the previous year to DM 1.2 billion in 1999. The annual statement of accounts will be presented on May 3, 2000 while the General Meeting will be held on July 6, 2000.
