Start date
The trainee programmes of the Wire & Cable Solutions division do not have a fixed start date. Please consult our vacancies board for information on programmes currently running.
Duration
You will undergo an international trainee programme over a period of 18-24 months, which is designed to qualify you for future leadership tasks. During this time, you will be deployed in various business areas, both at home and abroad.
Areas of responsibility
Depending on the areas of specialisation you chose in your degree or on your professional interests and the internships you have, you can choose one of the following fields for your personal start:
- Production Technology/Processes
- Technical Sales an Distribution
- Controlling
- Human Resource Management
Content
We let you assume responsibility right from the start. We offer you targeted support on your career path by systematically fostering your development and challenging you. We design the programme together with you, taking into account your personal interests and preferences. It involves work in different areas of business (job rotation) and different support measures (off-the-job elements). During both the day-to-day business and while collaborating on, and managing, projects your network will grow and you will gain a comprehensive overview of our business areas, structures and processes. Qualification-relevant elements with a modular structure and opportunities for individual configuration round off your trainee programme.
Requirements
- University degree with above-average grades in engineering (e.g. electrical engineering, motor vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, precision engineering, plastics engineering, physics, chemical and industrial engineering) or in economics
- Some initial practical experience (e.g. internships) would be an advantage
- Entrepreneurial thinking and good communication skills and ability to assert yourself
- Pronounced analytical and conceptual abilities together with enjoyment of devising and implementing solutions
- High readiness and motivation to learn
- Assured demeanour, team spirit and intercultural skills
- High level of mobility and flexibility together with willingness to spend months abroad
- Very good command of English
- Competence in the standard IT systems
