Matthias studied electrical engineering with focus on automation technology at the University of Siegen until July 2010. Afterwards he started an external PhD at Intedis on the topic "Robust observer for vehicle condition and parameters" and finished it in 2016. Until 2021, he worked at Intedis on topics related to automated driving. In February 2021, he joined LEONI, where he worked on new product concepts in the area of advanced development. As of July 1, 2022, he has been appointed Head of Ideation, Strategy & Intellectual Property.
