Electronics technician specializing in operating technology
As an electronics technician specializing in operating technology, you create, assemble and repair complex new systems as well as existing systems. You also test and evaluate electronic systems and devices for function and safety and install new components in buildings.
The training takes three and a half years. The theory is taught at the vocational college in Roth, the practical phase at the LEONI site in Roth.
Future fields of work: electrical maintenance, plant engineering.
What you will bring to this role:
- Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of mathematics, physics and electronics
- Manual dexterity as well as practiced fine motor skills
- Team spirit and sense of responsibility
- Middle school leavers’ diploma or “Mittlere Reife” (roughly equivalent to GCSE in the UK or a junior high school diploma) or higher
