Mechatronic technician
As a mechatronics technician, you will acquire basic skills in metalworking such as manual and mechanical machining, soldering and welding, commission mechatronic systems and maintain and repair them. You will also install and test hardware and software components and assemble and test electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
The training takes three and a half years. The theory is taught at the vocational college in Roth, the practical phase at the LEONI site in Roth.
Future fields of work: Electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, facility management.
What you will bring to this role:
- Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of mathematics, physics, electronics and mechanics
- Manual dexterity as well as practiced fine motor skills
- Team spirit and sense of responsibility
- Middle school leavers’ diploma or higher school diploma
