Business information technology degree with in-depth practical experience

The bachelor's degree course in business information technology will give you comprehensive knowledge of information processing and information supply. You will acquire important basic skills for methodical problem solving and project management. The alternating practical phases at the Kitzingen or Nuremberg site give you an insight into different areas of relevance for your degree. Through the practical experience you gain here we will advance your personal development and also support you when it comes to deciding on the direction of your professional future after your degree.

The degree course takes three and a half years. The theory is taught at the Technical University in Würzburg-Schweinfurt in Würzburg and the practical phase at the LEONI site in Kitzingen or Nuremberg

Many opportunities await you at LEONI after graduating. In our varied IT landscape, you will be able to work in such areas as information security/data privacy, software engineering and IT infrastructure. Areas outside IT may also be an option for you. Project management, functional security and value analysis are just a few examples.

What you will bring to this role:

  • Degree from a vocational college or high school diploma  

  • Ability to work as part of a team, independent learner and curious about topics of the future in the automotive sector  

  • Interest in IT systems and business management  

  • Good basic knowledge of mathematics and possibly some programming experience  

  • Interest in different specialist areas and cultures  

  • Good command of German and English (written and spoken)
