Integral concept of purchasing
We live what we call the integral concept of purchasing. That means that we are not focussed on the piece price only. In cooperation with our suppliers we develop inventive logistic systems for the supply of our production plants which are all located abroad. The strong focus onto the entire supply chain leads to the excellent reputation we have at our suppliers and customers.
Purchasing volume
The purchasing volume of the Wiring Systems Division is determined by a 75 % usage of connectors and cables. We have also a regular need on various rubber and plastic parts, ring terminals or crimp sockets. As we are a system partner for the automotive industry we enlarge our purchasing range continuously by electronical components or assemblies.

LEONI logistics application
To optimize the coordination between LEONI, our suppliers and the used transport carriers / logistic service providers, we decided to use a web based platform. This platform is able to connect electronically all suppliers to LEONI and can also be used as a communication tool to the logistic service provider.
You will be able to exchange worldwide logistic data with LEONI and use applications for order management and tracking and tracing with the help of this logistic platform. The LEONI service assists all involved parties of the supply chain with their tasks and expands their possibilities to manage the logistic processes.
