Dr Frank Hiller will leave the Management Board of Leoni AG on 31 December 2016 at his own request – Supervisory Board appoints new Management Board member

Nuremberg – The Supervisory Board of Leoni AG today approved the departure by mutual agreement of Management Board member Dr Frank Hiller, who has been in charge of the Wiring Systems Division, from the Board effective 31 December 2016. The Supervisory Board also appointed a successor from within the automotive supply industry, who will probably take the office at the beginning of 2017.

Dr Frank Hiller had notified the Supervisory Board that he did not wish to extend his Management Board mandate with responsibility for the Wiring Systems Division beyond his current appointment to the end of the 2017 financial year.

Dr Werner Rupp, Chairman of Leoni AG’s Supervisory Board, said: “Restructuring of the Wiring Systems Division is well under way; all programmes are being implemented as planned. We have gained a successor with whom we shall take the Wiring Systems Division’s growth potential forward. We respect Dr Hiller’s wish not to extend his mandate any further. The Supervisory Board thanks Dr Hiller for his great commitment, his successful work and the key parameters set particularly in the Wiring Systems Division.”

Dr Frank Hiller said: “Now that restructuring of the Wiring Systems Division is well on its way, I would like to take this opportunity to further my career and to accept new challenges.”
