Dr Rupp said: “After so many exciting years in the office, I am delighted that Dr Probst is willing to take up the torch and create important momentum for Leoni’s future.”
Ingrid Hofmann will leave the Supervisory Board after six years in order to focus more strongly on the upcoming internationalisation of the Hofmann group company. Prof. Dr Wucherer, who has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2007, will strengthen his activities in Asia and, as such, is not standing again. Dr Rupp: “I thank Mrs Hofmann and Prof. Wucherer in the name of the Supervisory Board for their long-standing, committed and highly competent collaboration. Both were always prudent counsellors, particularly during the challenges of the recent past, which the Supervisory Board addressed with resolve.”

Chairman of the Supervisory Board Dr Rupp further comments: “It is a huge asset for the company that Leoni can count on Dr Castiglioni’s and Dr Probst’s expertise in the future. If the AGM agrees with our proposal, Leoni’s Supervisory Board will be excellently positioned in every respect to be able to master the upcoming challenges, and will be further rejuvenated with regards to the age structure of its members. We are delighted that, with Dr Castiglioni, we have gained a first-rate expert for digitisation, a trend that will also shape Leoni’s future. Dr Probst has contributed significantly to the company’s success for many years and is one of the most knowledgeable experts in the cable and automotive industry as well as in the capital market.”
